Club Donald

How can Clark Cross (Letters, 28 February) seriously suggest that we should admire Donald Trump?

Here is man who forces his wishes onto other people with no consideration for their feelings, homes or history.

A century ago in the US Trump would have been seen as a carpetbagger. He has already land-grabbed parts of Aberdeenshire to satisfy his own egotistical desires, much to the detriment of others.

Trump does not care about wind farms, only about himself, and if these wind farms could increase his wealth he would be of a different opinion.

The Scottish Government should basically tell Trump to stay out of Scottish politics and, if he does not like it, should be told to take his golf club elsewhere.

My biggest fear is that some day he may choose to run for the presidency of the US, and God help all those countries who don’t bow to his wishes.

Trump likes to interfere where he is not welcome. Clark Cross is hiding behind rose-coloured glasses if he thinks Trump should be admired.
