Children are a gift from God

THE love and compassion shown by the gentleman interviewed in Spectrum magazine (13 December) for childless couples was very moving.

It is extremely sad when a married man and woman cannot have their own children, but all IVF is seriously wrong.

Procreation should always be a beautiful and pure "mystical" act between a man and a woman, married to each other, and God, who breathes life into this new human being and creates its precious immortal soul.

Children are a gift from God – they are not products to be made.

There are the loving and caring options of adoption – tragically many babies are aborted because they are not wanted for one reason or another – fostering and helping to support many children in need at home and abroad.
