Blow to exports

NATIONAL Grid managers have warned there is no guarantee renewable power from a future independent Scotland would be bought by the rest of the UK. But what about now?

The Grid is required to source electricity in the most economic way. The “green crusade” is already estimated to have added £200 to energy bills. Why would anyone want to buy expensive wind energy from Scotland when they can buy cheap nuclear, via the interconnector from France?
