Alcohol warning

Scotland’s whisky exports to China and Hong Kong have reached £63.6 million in only nine months, (your report, 10 December).

I trust that First Minister Alex Salmond, on his recent trip to China, reminded the Chinese of the health risks, that alcohol discounting was not allowed and that the whisky should not be sold before 10am.
