Aid benefits

US financial support to Arab and Muslim countries far outweighs that given to to Israel. So it is good to see N Aitken (Letters, 11 January) acknowledge the good use Jerusalem makes of such funds for the benefit of mankind, including the numerous citizens of Arabia who come to the Jewish state for medical treatment.
