Acting the part

It’s a fascinating thought that Tommy Sheridan will be released from prison but not allowed to speak in public; he’ll be seen but never heard (your report, 28 January) . I can’t think of anything more frustrating for him.

Perhaps he could get round it in the same way that the media did many years ago when IRA officials were banned from speaking but had their words spoken by actors.
