HEARTS and Hibs have fought out some tight battles this season – and it’s no different when it comes to the Twitter league table.

A mere 2000 followers separate the Capital clubs, with just under 33,000 hanging on the every 140 characters uttered collectively by online Jambo stars compared with just over 31,000 waiting with bated breath for updates from the Easter Road men.

And while he may be riding high in the SPL scoring charts, Leigh Griffiths is being outgunned on the social-networking site by city rival Ryan McGowan – though not for much longer, with the Aussie set for a move to China.

Overall, though, it’s mid-table mediocrity for our clubs, with the Old Firm well in front in the Twitter table.

Entitled “Little One-ders”, the guide on growingupmilkinfo.com contains a milestone for each month of their toddler years.

It begins quaintly enough with making a mud pie, before heading off on the more questionable tangents of “first love” and “break something valuable”.

BARGAIN hunters out to spruce up their living rooms are out in force as the January sales kick in.

But British Heart Foundation research says 13 per cent of Capital homeowners then simply throw their old faithful sofas and armchairs out with the rubbish.
