THE Scottish Government has appealed to North-east energy giants not to axe jobs in Scotland as the global oil price continues to fall.
Opposition parties are demanding an official inquiry into the validity of SNP Government statistics as the oil price sinks to $59 a barrel - about half the value set out by SNP during the referendum.
