French president Francois Hollande yesterday told David Cameron over a pint that Paris does not regard renegotiation of European Union treaties as a “priority”.
But questions over Hollande’s private life refused to go away as the president was probed again over reports of an affair with actress Julie Gayet, which prompted his split from former first lady Valerie Trierweiler.
