The Scotsman cartoon: Ed Miliband silenced

ED Miliband was instructed not to speak at Better Together rally by his fellow campaigners it has been claimed.

Miliband was described as a “liability” who had a “hugely negative impact” on the No campaign, and the decision was made to prohibit him from addressing a crowd on the eve of the Scottish independence referendum.

Labour have insisted this was not the case, arguing Miliband had been in Scotland more than any other Westminster party leader.

However, a Labour source opinioned that Miliband “didn’t win us one vote” in the attempt to stop Scotland from becoming in independent nation.
