The Scotsman cartoon: Armed Forces Day and Bannockburn
The Armed Forces Day event in Stirling will take place on the same weekend as the two-day Bannockburn Live event to commemorate the battle’s 700th anniversary.
A list of spectacular events planned for the event was revealed last night.
Red Arrows displays, a Battle of Britain flypast, parachute drops and a Royal Marine rescue exercise will be staged as part of Armed Forces Day.
