ALEX SALMOND has stated his belief that a Yes vote would be victorious if there was to be another Scottish independence referendum.

The former First Minister pointed toward a potential UK exit from Europe as a “tipping point” for the Scottish people.

He stated this opinion despite previously saying the independence referendum was a “once in a generation opportunity”.
