2001: Anjelina Jolie was named a UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador at their headquarters in Geneva.

2007: The skeletons of Alexei Nikolaevich, Tsarevich of Russia, and his sister Anastasia were found near Yekaterinburg, Russia.
