Open day marks fifth birthday

THE watchdog body for a community park celebrated its fifth birthday with an summer open day on Friday.

Friends of Muir Wood Park also used the occasion to mark the completion of a revamp of the Currie amenity.

Ward councillor Alastair Paisley opened the new improved park.
