MADONNA has shared a bizarre photograph on her Instagram in which the queen of pop appears to have pillow cases emblazoned with the face of George Galloway.
The Scots-born politician - who shares a birthday with Madonna - actually wrote a newspaper column in May 2008 in which he said: “I am linked with Madonna at least once a year”, going on to describe her as a ‘more interesting companion as a birthday treat’ than Victoria Beckham.
The image was shared by Madonna on Instagram to mark son Rocco’s 15th birthday with the caption: “15 years have gone by too quickly!! Happy birthday #1 son!”
In the background is an image of Mr Galloway from the year 2000, along with a headline reading: “I am not, nor have I ever been, an oil trader.”
Mr Galloway had been appearing before the US senate’s investigations sub-committee inquiry set up to probe oil deals in the country - carried out prior to the Iraq war - which breached sanctions.
However, it’s unclear if the image of Mr Galloway in the picture is a strategically-placed newspaper or one of the most amazing pillow cases we’ve ever seen.
