Not Tattoo much longer

TATTOO fans queued for hours today as tickets went on sale for the dress rehearsal of the annual military extravaganza.

First in the queue, Stuart Allan, 55, from the city centre, was outside the Tattoo office in Market Street from 3.30am – six-and-a-half hours before the doors opened.

He has been a Tattoo regular for about 20 years. “I used to just come along and queue for two hours, but you get a better choice of ticket if you’re here early,” he said.

“I like going every year and it seems to get better and better.”
