No suicide risk link to acne drug

A POPULAR acne drug does not appear to increase the risk of suicide, experts said today.

Doubts have been cast over isotretinoin after a 2007 study claimed it caused depression and suicidal thoughts. New research on more than 5,700 people, published by the British Medical Journal (BMJ), found the drug alone does not appear to increase the risk.
