‘A nice time’ to visit parks

RESIDENTS across West Lothian are being encouraged to enjoy the country parks over the coming months.

Visitors can help to plant trees at Almondell and Calderwood Country Park on November 12, or take part in Christmas crafts at Beecraigs Country Park on December 11.

Beecraigs Christmas red deer walk will be held on December 17 and 18.

Councillor Jim Walker said: “This is a really nice time of year to visit the country parks.”
