NHS staff give energy views

MORE than 800 NHS Lothian staff have submitted their views on how the organisation could save energy.

As part of a review into energy consumption, workers were asked for their recommendations, however small.

The health board wants to reduce its carbon footprint, and has already taken a number of steps to do this.

These include increased use of videolink to reduce needless travel by health chiefs between the area's main hospitals.
