NHS Lothian up for award

NHS Lothian has been nominated for an award at the eHealth Awards 2012.

The health board has been put forward for the prize in the Best NHS Scotland use of innovative IT for patient care category for the South and East of Scotland Consortium Clinical Portal Project.

The portal is an electronic window allowing clinicians to view defined information about individual patients in a  “virtual” electronic patient record.
