New £2m centre 'empowers' student vets

A NEW £2 million centre focusing on international animal welfare will "empower" veterinary students.

The Jeanne Marchig International Centre for Animal Welfare Education officially opens today.

The centre is part of a 100m development at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies' Easter Bush Campus.
