New editor at Evening News

THE Evening News has a new editor.

Frank O’Donnell took up the post this week after making the short move from our sister paper, The Scotsman, where he was assistant editor.

The 41-year-old, who takes over from Tom Little, was born and raised in the city and is a graduate of Edinburgh University.

He said: “It’s an honour to be at the helm of such a prestigious title. The Evening News has been the home of Edinburgh news for almost 140 years and that continues to this day. Whether it’s online or in print, the paper continues to reflect the heart and soul of Scotland’s capital and the Lothians.”
