SCOTLAND’S first online fashion week is to be hosted in the Capital.

The Edinburgh Online Fashion Week, which boasts established designers, high-street labels, independent boutiques and student collections, will reach a global audience when it broadcasts in October.

Broadcasts will be available for streaming, and the five-day event will include catwalk shows as well as backstage interviews with designers.

Director Gary Anderson said: “There’s a vast amount of creative talent in Scotland and the internet and social media will help expose that.”
