Neglect mother jailed for 25 years

A WOMAN from the US state of New Mexico will serve 25 years in prison for the death of her three-year-old daughter, who died from malnutrition and dehydration while the mother chatted and played the World of Warcraft game online.

Rebecca Colleen Christie, 28, was sentenced yesterday for her 2009 conviction on second-degree murder and child abandonment charges.
