Music charity in a jam over lack of prizes

AN APPEAL at the 11th-hour appeal for auction prizes has been made by organisers of a music charity night.

The people behind the Jam and Jar have spent the last two months gathering gifts from the public and businesses in the Lothians.

But due to the difficult economic climate, there is still room for more gifts.

The event raises money for the Teapot Trust, and will take place at the Voodoo Rooms in West Register Street tomorrow.

Organiser Norval Barclay said: “People have been incredibly generous already.

“We appreciate with budgets tight it’s difficult for businesses and individuals to dig deep.”

To donate a prize, or for tickets, email [email protected] or visit the Raeburn bar in Stockbridge.
