Museums project gets £40k from Scottish Government

A PROJECT led by the city council to boost museum visits has won £40,000 of Scottish Government funding.

The money, awarded by funding quango Museums Galleries Scotland, will pay for a part-time post providing marketing support and training for the members of East of Scotland Museums Partnership. City culture convener Richard Lewis said: “We have some fantastic collections in our museums and galleries, This support will enable us to raise the profile of our venues and help boost visitor numbers.”
