Murray’s the best crosser on the field

HIBS captain Ian Murray took a break from training to help plant thousands of crosses in Scotland’s first-ever Field of Remembrance.

Following a large fundraising appeal, Poppyscotland – the charity behind the appeal – brought in volunteers to help plant 11,000 remembrance crosses in the Field of Remembrance in Princes Street Gardens, which will be situated next to the traditional Garden of Remembrance.

It will open on Monday.
