Murderous fun for kids

THE grisly story behind two of Edinburgh’s most notorious serial killers is being recounted as a musical by pupils at Windygoul Primary.

Children from the East Lothian school have been working with Charades Theatre Company to create a performance about Burke and Hare.

Ruth Johnson, Windygoul’s headteacher, said: “The children will develop important skills, both those specific to the expressive arts and those which are transferable. In later life the children will be able to draw confidence from the public performances they take part in during this project.”
