MSPs deliver city’s bid for Green Bank prize

EDINBURGH’S bid to become the home of the UK’s new Green Investment Bank was delivered to Business Secretary Vince Cable by two Capital MPs yesterday. Mark Lazarowicz and Mike Crockart jointly submitted the city’s case for the bank, which will provide finance and attract private investment for green projects which are too risky to find funding through the market. The successful host city will be decided in February.
