LOTHIANS Labour MSP Sarah Boyack has welcomed plans by Amazon to create 900 jobs in the Capital.

The online retailer is to open a new customer service centre at Waverley Gate in Waterloo Place with 500 permanent and 400 temporary posts, handling telephone and internet queries.
