MP supports Plan to give every girl a chance in life

LIVINGSTON MP Graeme Morrice has given his support to a campaign which seeks to end inequality between boys and girls.

Plan’s Because I Am A Girl campaign focuses on helping every girl access her rights and have a voice in decision- making. Plan works with the world’s poorest children to help them break out of poverty and fulfil their potential.

Mr Morrice said: “One in three girls around the world is denied an education, often because she is forced into work or marriage at an early age. This is unfair and unacceptable.”
