MP embarks on VSO work

EAST Lothian MP Fiona O’Donnell is travelling to Bangladesh to work alongside a leading development 
organisation.

The Labour politician is undertaking a two-week voluntary placement with VSO – which aims to tackle poverty in developing nations – and will work with young adults to tackle “food and water insecurity”.

She said: “Bangladesh faces huge challenges in dealing with the effects of climate change.”
