MP is cream of the crop

EDINBURGH South MP Ian Murray is to turn milkman during a global event to encourage children to drink the white stuff.

He will be at Meadows Nursery, in Millerfield Place on Tuesday to hand out free milk.

Thousands of children across more then 40 countries have been marking World School Milk Day.

John Sedgwick, managing director of Cool Milk, which supplies the nursery, said: “Milk in schools continues to be incredibly popular and hugely successful in contributing to the healthy development of all children.”
