MP confronts PM on poor

EAST Lothian Labour MP Fiona O’Donnell challenged David Cameron at Prime Minister’s Questions to admit that 100,000 more children will be driven into poverty next year as a result of his policies.

She said: “Last week George Osborne announced he’s taking over £1.3 billion a year from families by failing to go ahead with the planned additional rise in child tax credits and by freezing their working tax credits. More children are being forced into poverty.”
