A REMOVAL firm based in the Lothians has been recognised for its customer service.

Loanhead-based Forth Movers has been given an "excellence" award by the National Guild of Removers and Storers (NGRS).

The award recognised the "consistently high level of quality ratings" from customers.

Owner David Adams said: "All customers are given quality questionnaire cards, which they then send direct to the National Guild. They indicate a first class performance by all of our staff."
