Motorist on drink charge

A MOTORIST has been charged with an alleged drink-driving offence after his car was involved in a collision.

The 21-year-old man from Northfield Drive in Edinburgh, was arrested following the crash in the High Street in Aberlady, East Lothian, at around 7:45am on Saturday.

The man was cautioned and charged with drink-driving, and is set to appear at Haddington Sheriff Court on 9 June.
