Motivation talk with Murrays booked out

TICKETS for a motivational talk with Britain’s No 1 tennis player Andy Murray, his brother and mother were snapped up within hours of becoming available, with the huge demand forcing organisers to find a bigger venue.

The “Talking with the Murrays” free evening event had been due to take place in the auditorium at the National Museum of Scotland, which can seat about 200 people. But the talk on 7 February has now been moved to the museum’s Grand Gallery, a 350-seat venue.

Dunblane-born Murray will be joined on stage by his brother Jamie and mother Judy for a talk hosted by Jonathan Overend, plus friends and commentators from the world of sport. The show is to be broadcast on BBC Radio 5 Live.

The family will talk about their careers, passion for sport and Mrs Murray’s Set4Sport initiative, aimed to help children develop sporting skills.
