Missing meds handed back

PAINKILLERS that went missing from a Midlothian chemist have now been returned in full, police have said.

The drugs were set down on the service counter of the Lloyd’s Pharmacy on Hunterfield Road in Gorebridge after being dispensed by the pharmacist.

A police spokesman said a customer noticed he had the painkillers and returned them to the store on Monday, adding: “Officers would like to thank the public for their assistance with this matter”.
