Mike keeps it personal

ONE of the founding members of The Incredible String Band is giving an intimate performance at the Queen’s Hall next month.

Mike Heron will take to the stage alongside daughter Georgia Seddon, Mike Hastings, John Wilson and the author and poet Andrew Greig.

The talented guitarist went on to record with the likes of Pete Townshend, Elton John and Jimmy Page.

Andrew Greig is the author of acclaimed books of poetry and featured with Billy Connolly and Aly Bain in the BBC documentary Fishing for Poetry, in which they paid tribute to Norman MacCaig’s life and work.

Tickets for the concert on March 18 cost £12 (plus £1.50 booking fee). Doors open at the venue in Clerk Street at 7.30pm.
