Microwave in hospital theft

A MICROWAVE and an alcohol gel dispenser were among the items stolen from NHS Lothian premises in the last year.

A flatscreen television from the Sick Kids hospital and a games console from a young person's department at the Royal Edinburgh hospital were also stolen.

The list from NHS Lothian follows a similar disclosure from Lothian and Borders Police which featured a 10,000 eye machine and several laptops being removed from hospitals.
