Miami date for docks

LEITH Docks are set to be marketed globally at a international cruise liner conference in Miami, owner Forth Ports has revealed.

The firm hopes to attract new business to its terminals amid rising numbers of cruise passengers arriving at the Port of Leith.

In 2012, Scottish ports welcomed 76 liners and 80,000 passengers, with about a quarter of these docking at Leith.

Forth Ports will attend the cruise industry’s most prestigious showcase for the first time next week.
