A METHADONE user left her supply of the heroin substitute on a city bus, sparking a warning from police.

A METHADONE user left her supply of the heroin substitute on a city bus, sparking a warning from police.

The user’s drugs, which also included Valium, were found to be missing at around 1pm on Wednesday.

The woman believes she may have misplaced the medication on a No 30 bus sometime between 9.50am and 10.15am.

Officers are urging members of the public to come forward if they find the medication “as a matter of urgency”.

A police spokesperson said: “Anyone who comes across these drugs should contact police or hand them into the nearest police station.”
