Memorial to dead MSPs proposed
A MEMORIAL to MSPs who have died in office could be installed at Holyrood.
The move was proposed by Midlothian South SNP MSP Christine Grahame, who said seven MSPs had died since the Scottish Parliament was created, with Independent Lothian MSP Margo MacDonald the most recent.
Ms Grahame suggested “some kind of discreet plaque or memorial”. Donald Dewar was the first serving MSP to die in 2000.
