Meeting move causes anger

RELATIONS between NHS Lothian and a campaign group fighting for hospital services have worsened after a meeting was suddenly cancelled.

The health board and Stop the Downgrade, an organisation formed to support St John's Hospital in Livingston, already had a strained understanding as they shaped plans for the hospital.

A spokesman said: "This isn't the first time that representatives from NHS Lothian have caused the meeting to be cancelled causing great inconvenience."
