IT’S the dream job for many – and it came true for Cameron Anderson and Cheryl-Ann Beattie, who became the first people to buy a “keeper experience” at Edinburgh Zoo.

They entered the meerkat enclosure to feed the sprightly creatures after taking up the £35 offer.

Head of animals Darren McGarry said: “We are delighted to be able to offer people the chance to get closer to the animals.”
