Market gets in the spirit

A NEW community market has launched its Christmas event, Dreaming of a Noir Christmas: Street Market and Cabaret.

Edinburgh Markets, the new local social enterprise set up in May, will see the community market by the Picardy Place roundabout feature a selection of stalls selling tasty treats and gifts, as well as mulled wine.

There will also be a heated traditional yurt boasting a 1940s-themed programme of events, including live music.
