Man who died in car crash is named

A MAN that died in an early morning crash in the Highlands has been named.

Andrew Macdonald, from the Black Isle, was killed on the B9153 road between Aviemore and Carrbridge at about 12:15am on Saturday. Police said only one vehicle was involved.

The Scottish Ambulance Service attended but Mr Macdonald died at the scene.

The road was closed for around eight hours while officers investigated the cause of the crash. Police are appealing for witnesses.
