Man seriously ill after Glasgow stabbing

A MAN was seriously ill in hospital in Glasgow last night after being stabbed. Strathclyde Police are treating the incident as attempted murder.

The 30-year-old suffered stab wounds after being involved in an argument with another man at about 11pm on Friday.

It took place between Brockburn Road and Devol Crescent in the city's Pollok area.

The victim was taken to Glasgow's Southern General Hospital, where he remained in a serious condition last night.

The suspect is described as white, aged 20 to 30, approximately 5ft 10in to 6ft tall, of medium build and wearing a grey hooded top.
