

Police in West Lothian are appealing for witnesses following the act of public indecency in Bathgate.
The incident happened around 2pm yesterday on Leyland Road.
A 27-year-old mother was walking with her young child on the footpath leading to Morrison’s supermarket. She observed a man with his trousers down standing in a wooded area who was performing an indecent act.

Hide AdThe suspect is described as around 40-years-old, with a stocky build and wearing bright orange and yellow clothing.
Officers are now urging anyone who can assist with their enquiries to come forward.
Detective Sergeant David Macmillan said: “This was a disgusting act of public indecency which caused great distress to a parent while accompanied by their young child.
“We’re urging anyone who witnessed the incident, who saw the suspect around the time of the incident or who recognises his description, to come forward.”
