Man injured in Kirkcaldy Aldi car park crash

A man has been injured after the car in which he was driving crashed into bushes at an Aldi supermarket car park.

The incident happened around 10am this morning at the Kirkcaldy store car park in Forth Road.

A spokesman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was alerted at 10.07am on to reports of a road traffic collision involving one vehicle at Forth Road, Kirkcaldy.

“Operations Control mobilised two fire engines to the scene, where one casualty was assisted to safety by firefighters.

“The casualty was passed into the care of Scottish Ambulance Service personnel, and thereafter transferred to the Victoria Hospital.

“Crew will remain at the scene until the area is made safe.”
